For more detailed results, use 3-5 levels to create multi-layer stencils. Each gray level represents a separate stencil layer. Cut each layer from different material and apply them in sequence from lightest to darkest for professional-looking results with depth and dimension.
Start with high-contrast photos that have clear subjects. Portraits, silhouettes, and bold graphics work best. Use the smoothing slider to reduce noise and create cleaner edges. For spray paint stencils, ensure all dark areas are connected (islands need bridges) so the stencil holds together when cut.
