This is a browser-based retouching brush for the two most common photo fixes: making small blemishes vanish and painting over things that shouldn't be there. The spot heal brush removes dust, sensor spots, pimples, and scratches with a single click by blending in the surrounding pixels. The clone stamp copies from one part of the photo to another with a soft, feathered brush, ideal for erasing date stamps, watermarks on your own photos, power lines, or photobombers. Everything runs locally; your photo is never uploaded.
Upload a photo and start with Spot heal: set a brush size slightly larger than the blemish and click it, the spot fills in from the pixels around it. For bigger repairs, switch to Clone stamp, Alt-click (or tap Pick source) on a clean area that matches the texture you need, then paint over the unwanted object; a crosshair shows exactly where you're sampling from. Adjust softness for invisible blends, lower the strength for gradual buildup, and lean on undo, every stroke is one step in the history.
Spot heal is the fast tool for small, isolated flaws on fairly even backgrounds: dust on a scan, a blemish on skin, a bird in a clear sky. It synthesizes the fill automatically from a ring of surrounding pixels, so one click usually does it. The clone stamp gives you control when the surroundings are complex, repeating textures like grass, brick, fabric, or water, because you choose exactly which clean area to copy from, and the soft feathered edge hides the seam. Most retouching jobs use both: heal the specks, clone the rest.
Clean dust and scratches from scanned family prints, remove the burned-in date stamp from 2000s digicam photos, erase pimples and stray hairs from portraits before posting, take power lines out of a landscape, or tidy product shots for a listing by removing lint and reflections. It's also handy for preparing screenshots and documents, paint over stray marks before sharing.
Every stroke is recorded: step backward and forward through up to 25 history states with Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y, or jump back to the untouched original at any time with Reset, your starting photo is always preserved in memory. Brushes work at the image's native resolution, so nothing is downscaled, and the result exports as a lossless PNG or as JPG and WebP, or copies straight to your clipboard.
